Gary Sutherland has over 20 years of insurance experience and holds the prestigious designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), an honor attained by only 2% of all insurance brokers. Gary is the founder of NAPLIA and he oversees the operation and direction of all offices with a generosity and attention to detail that is unmatched.
His diverse experience is invaluable to the service he provides to professionals. He has owned his own property management company, been a licensed property assessor, and held the position of National Sales Manager overseeing three national professional liability programs targeted to accountants, attorneys, and real estate professionals.
Gary is married to Patrice and has three grown children. Gary spends his free time researching family history and genealogy.
Stephen Vono has specialized in professional liability insurance for over 10 years and is a licensed insurance broker in 42 states. Steve's drive and passion lend credence to the fact that NAPLIA is a service orientated agency that considers their clients their number one asset.
Stephen and his wife, Mary, have one daughter. Stephen is a music aficionado, ask him about his vinyl collection.
Tom Henell started his career in professional liability in 1989. He ran the advertising and marketing for several national programs, was instrumental in launching legal professional liability programs in MA, and has earned the prestigious designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
His further experience includes working as a Senior Vice President for an international media agency where he worked directly with Fortune 500 companies to develop their online marketing strategies.
Tom is responsible for all of NAPLIA's marketing and advertising.Tom and his wife Monica have two boys. Tom is a guitar player/songwriter and can be seen performing regularly at local Open mic's.
Tom Schrandt runs the daily operations of Naplia's Pennsylvania office. He started his career in insurance in 1995 and has worked in sales, marketing, and as a financial advisor for some of the largest companies in the industry including Prudential, GE Capital, and Vanguard.
Prior to joining Naplia, Tom was the National Sales Manager for the AICPA endorsed Accountants Professional Liability program and is currently working towards his Registered Professional Liability (RPLU) designation. Tom was "all conference" for 4 years for the DeSalles University golf team, and gets most of his exercise from chasing his three young daughters with his wife Colleen.
Dogan Tuncel has worked in the professional liability insurance industry for over 10 years, specializing in meeting the needs of accounting and financial professionals. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a double major in Political Science and Economics.
Dogan's further experience includes founding a successful Web Hosting company that he ultimately sold to one of the largest providers in the industry.
Dogan is an avid sports fan and spends much of his free time traveling with his wife Bernie.
Debbie Ramos runs the daily operations of Naplia's Texas office. Debbie is a licensed attorney in Texas and has earned her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Debbie has over ten years experience as a company underwriter specializing in the legal professional liability industry.
She joined Naplia in 2006 in the hope of bringing her extensive industry experience, and legal background to the direct benefit of clients. Debbie has two children with her husband Rex and enjoys photography and tennis.
Michele Dinneen joined Naplia with a significant background in professional liability insurance. She has over 10 years of experience in both underwriting and sales and has worked with Accountants, Attorneys, and other Miscellaneous professionals. She was instrumental in establishing Naplia's relationship with the Home Inspector industry and is a graduate of Boston University, majoring in Psychology.
Michele has one son and, like any Bostonian, is an avid Boston sports fan.
Matt Fager has worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years, specializing in professional liability insurance. He has held sales and underwriting positions for specialized companies including ProMutual, Physicans Insurance Agency, and AON. Matt is a graduate of Susquehanna University with a major in Political Science.
Matt has specialized in the legal professional liability market for much of his career and his insight in lawyers professional liability, gained through experience, is unmatched in Massachusetts.
Matt enjoys tennis and skiing in his free time and has visited baseball stadiums across the country.
Anthony Weiner has been working in the Professional Liability Insurance industry for several years. He previously worked most of his career within the legal system as a legislative aid for the Massachusetts Senate and also as a paralegal for various law firms. This familiarity and understanding of what level of protection lawyers need has allowed him great national success within the legal professional liability market. Anthony is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a major in Political Science.
Anthony is devoted to providing his clients with the most comprehensive coverage for the best possible price. Most of his free time outside the office is devoted to athletics where he continues to play and coach various sports.
