What does the Engagement Letter Review consist of?

The Engagement Letter Review is a relatively simply process, but with significant results.  You provide Graf Repetti with a copy of the various engagement letter forms and templates that you use in your practice.  Graf Repetti will review your documents and provide you with a detailed report which includes specific comments on each letter reviewed, including if applicable, example provisions for inclusion in the revised letters.  In addition, the review process provides the opportunity for you to discuss aspects of the report directly with Graf Repetti's professional staff.

How much does the Engagement Letter Review cost?

Although there are circumstances where pricing may vary based on the complexity, specialty, etc, of your practice, the base pricing of the Engagement Letter Review is:

  • $575 for up to 3 letters
  • $175 for each additional letter
  • Customized pricing may be developed for specific requests and projects

Who is Graf Repetti? 

Graf Repetti & Co., LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors with offices in midtown Manhattan and Plainview, NY,  Their Risk Management and Compliance Department is headed by John Raspante, CPA.  Mr. Raspante spent the last 9 years as the Senior Loss Prevention Specialist for CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company, provider of professional and liability insurance and the nation’s largest CPA-owned mutual insurance company. 

A resident of Freehold, NJ, Raspante holds a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College (CUNY) and a Master’s of Science in Taxation from Washington School of Law. He also holds the designation Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. His professional affiliations include membership in the following organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSCPA) where he currently serves on the Compilation and Review Committee; New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) where he participates in the A&A Interest Group and as an Editorial staff member; National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP). He is also a member of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners’  (NCCPAP) Ethics Committee. He has been a frequent speaker within the accounting professional on issues relating to risk management and professional ethics.
