NAPLIA
is a tireless advocate for our firm. They are very
responsive to phone calls and inquiries about policy coverage.
So I never have to wait in the dark. Overall, NAPLIA makes this
a surprisingly enjoyable process and I look forward to my
periodic phone conversations.

Receipt for Client Records
|
Although we do
not provide an actual sample receipt for client records, we hope
the following guidelines may be beneficial.
-
The
receipt should be in the form of a letter that confirms that
enclosed with, or accompanying, the letter are the following
original client documents.
-
Either
list the specific documents (describing each, if not too
voluminous), or the categories of documents (if
voluminous).
-
If the
firm is returning ALL of the original client documents, the
letter should clearly state that, and that the firm no
longer possesses any original client documents.
-
If the
firm will retain some original client documents for a while
longer, the letter should identify those that will be
retained.
-
Finally,
the letter should be set up for the client’s signature in
the same way that an engagement letter is.
